Seattle RV Show – February 6-9, 2014

Guess what?  I can’t believe I am saying this:  We SOLD our trailer!  Sold Trailer picIt was bitter sweet handing over the keys, because I loved our trailer.  We have so many awesome memories traveling in our RV.  On the bright side, the sweet family we sold it to, now has the opportunity to make their own memories.  I wish them all the best, safe travels, and fun.  Have FUN! 🙂

What’s next for us, you might ask?  Well, now we begin our search.  Our trips are getting longer, our boys are getting bigger, and we need just a little more space.  So what better place to start searching than at The Seattle RV Show.

My youngest son and I opened the show on Thursday.  We had free parking, half-off admission and kids were free.  We started on one side of the exhibit and spent the day looking at every trailer and fifth wheel there.  It was so much fun and there are SO many options.  The RV Dealers attending this year are: Apache Camping Center, Baydo’s RV Center, Blade Chevrolet & RV Center, Clear Creek RV Center, Clearview RV Inc., Fife RV & Auto, Five Star RV, Host Industries Inc., Open Road RV LLC, Paul Evert’s RV Country, Poulsbo RV, Roy Robinson RV, Speedway Chevrolet and RV Center, Sumner RV Center, Sunset RV, Tacoma RV Center and Valley RV Supercenter.

So what are we looking for in our next RV?  My wish list includes three bunks, pantry, lots of closet space, outside fridge, bike rack, black tank flush, couch, and bigger bathroom.  All of this and towable by my F-150 with max tow package.  Fingers crossed, I hope this is possible! 🙂

Are you looking for your next RV?  I suggest you, too, head over The Seattle RV Show.  The event runs this weekend Februrary 6-9, 2014.   Hours are Thursday and Friday 11am – 8pm.  Saturday 10am – 8pm.  Sunday 10am – 5pm.  Check out over 60 booth exhibitors as well and have your questions answered during one of the “Ask the Technician Presentations.”  Can’t get enough?  Learn even more from the following seminars:

  1. Good luck you guys… We’ll be following along.

Heading out to LaPush next Friday for a number of days.

  2. How fun! I wish you luck. We are heading to the Northeast RV Show in Rockland, NY next weekend…2nd year in a row for us…we have a 28 foot TT for 5 of us…4 bunks and a queen…we want something newer, but would need a more powerful truck…I cant wait to see what you buy!

    • Hi Melissa – Thank you! Have fun at the show next weekend. I have a feeling it is going to be a challenge for us to find a good trailer to fit our wish list without going to a bigger truck. I hope not though! Sounds like you have a great set up with the 4 bunks. -Carley

  3. Hope you find the right rig for your travels. I also am considering many different options. Good luck!

    • Hi Bill – Thank you! There are so many great bunk house options now available, makes it hard to choose. Thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂
